Idaho

Hey, Everybody! I'm in Idaho right now, and I forgot to bring my school schedule, so I won't post it.
Not like it matters, since I'm not going to Willowcreek next year anyway. I'm going to miss ALL my friends (a whole lot of which will be reading this) and one teacher (cough, cough, Mrs. Hayes). I can't take a dance class at home, which is really mean because I got into Intermediate Dance at school, even though I can't take it.
Anyway. I'm in IDAHO!! Visiting my relatives on my mom's side. The first day, we went to Boondocks and I ran into someone on the go-carts. I felt soooo bad, because he said he had a bad back and I caught him by surprise. I can relate, so I was guilty for the rest of the day.
Laser Tag is really fun. Enough said. Unless someone pushes your gun away so you can't shoot it and yells "What now? Huh? What now? Not so tough now, huh?" That got annoying. But she couldn't push my gun away because I kept swiveling, so she finally ran away screaming. Ha Ha.
Today, we went floating down a river! It was my first time even ever being in a river, so it was awesome. Our family bought two rafts. Mom, Faith, and I were in one, and Dad and Spence were in another. The little girls and Matt decided to stay home with the Grandparents. I loved the little waterfalls. They were soooo cool! It's late, so I've gotta go. BYE!

School Next Year

Hey, everybody! As most of you know, I'm not going to be going to Willowcreek next year.
Instead, I'm going to be taking online classes at home. I'm going to miss all my friends, but I hope to stay in touch with them over e-mail (hint, hint, to all you friends who are reading this).
We had to decide what classes I'm going to take. I had to take a foreign language, so I decided...brace yourselves, class, to take..........................................................Navajo. Yes, Navajo. I know it sounds really weird, but I think it'd be fun. Plus, Spanish was out of student slots.
Right now, over the summer, I'm taking a ninth grade English class to see what the school is like.
The Odyssey is the grossest book I've ever read. Don't read the Fitzgerald translation. It almost made me puke. I've gotta go now, but I'll do another post soon.
Bye!

Hey

Yellow. I invited a bunch of new people to view my blog, so this is for them. There are pictures of a lot of you on the side. A lot of these posts are dorky, but we're supposed to express our true selves through our blogs anyway, right? Kay. Everyone who reads this needs to e-mail me and tell me that you saw how dorky I am. Thanx!

Grandma and Grandpa Are Home!

YAY!!!!
Grandma and Grandpa are home from New Zealand! Dad, Matt, Faith, and I went over to their house yesterday. They gave us a presentation on what New Zealand was like.
There was a very cool sculpture of an anchor. The New Zealand anchors are called pung
(poong-a) and they are just a stone with a hole connecting it to the string on which it dangles.
There were some awesome pictures of birds that live there. There was the Tui, which makes a beautiful sound that Grandma says they heard almost every morning. That was my favorite. It was really cool. There are two little puffballs that poof out under their necks. The poofs are white, while the rest of the Tui's feathers are bluish-black.
They had a cute little stuffy of a kiwi (a flightless bird that lives in NZ). They gave us an abalone shell sculpture of a kiwi, too. They also gave us a beautiful bookmark. Mine has a map of New Zealand on it.

Thanks, Grandparents, and we are all so glad that you are back!
