Book of Mormon Trip!

Hi, everyone! Sorry about the posts (or lack thereof). Anywho, last night, Grandma and Grandpa Phil and Reesa took us on a special trip.
So, before they left on their mission, Grandma and Poppa gave all their grandkids a challenge to read the entire Book of Mormon by the time they got back home. Mikayla, Matt, Austin, Faith, Casey, and I all finished it, so they took us on a special Book of Mormon Field Trip!
First, Grandma and Grandpa picked us all up at around 12:30 pm. We all went to Temple Square, where we quickly walked through several pairs of missionaries, one of which tried to talk to us, but Grandpa dismissed them with, "We're Mormon and we're moving. Good luck today!" Without breaking stride, might I add...
We went to the Joseph Smith movie, where many much needed tissues were used (I wonder how many boxes of tissues those people go through per day...) and many lessons were learned. It made me think, Wow. They had to do all that, and what do we have to do?! Not turn on the TV at a certain time. Wow. We have it so easy. We had a nice discussion with a nice pair of sister missionaries from Germany and Brazil.
After that we went to This is the Place Monument and explored a little, took the train, and got severely rained on (which is the farthest thing from bad that I can think of). We saw antique pianos and really cool bedrooms and spinning wheels. I really don't think I could have done what they did, which is probably why I'm here instead of there.
When we were all too hungry to go any further, we went to Chuckarama (oh yeah, baby) and stuffed our hearts out, although I am proud to say that I didn't ever actually get full. HAPPY DAY!
So after we had tasted just about everything there, we went back to This is the Place and watched an awesome play, in which Poppa impressed us with his mad dancing skills.
We sang all the way home on the way back, and I found a package that contains my Geometry textbook so that I can finally start Geometry. :'( Ah well, life's good.
Love you all!

Abbey,
I am so happy that you were able to meet Grandma Reesa and Grandpa Phil's challenge to complete the Book of Mormon and ear a beautiful reward. The day sounds perfect. Grandpa John and I have not seen the movie, so you might just have to pull out a few more tissues and take us the next time we are in town. Lots of Love, Grandma Kristie
